The difference between Iron Maiden's, Rhapsody of Fire's, and Avenged Sevenfold's version of the song is the accent it's sung in (there's a couple other minor things but that's the big one). So your favorite version is gonna be the accent you like best. Personally i like Avenged Sevenfold's best, but that's just me. I do like Rhapsody of Fire's intro best though.

Debating between this cover and A7Xs would be fun but I couldn't really compare. Both offer something different while mostly keeping the Maiden feel imo. Both covers are great. For this one in particular, the added synth and keyboards imo make the song feel a bit more epic.

From a die hard Maiden fan......I like this version better. Rhapsody of fire is an insane band that deserves almost as much respect as Iron Maiden (without maiden they wouldn't be here), still I like this version better and it's much better than A7X even though I like their version too.

If you are talking about styles this cover as well have the classic Rhapsody style, style which I have to say, I like way more than the Avenged one, it's a more original style, also the music and the vocals are superior, anyway this is just my opinion, music is about tastes, so you can't say a song is better than other just that you like it more, just sayin'.
