only complaint about this was it was obviously rushed considering Rhea made her entrance 1 minute before the cut off time and even had to have ring side people push her to get into the ring before the show got cut off. Feel like they should have manged the time better because this was a big moment. Regardless Rhea's pop was dope

I disagree with Simon about Priest casting aside the “gentleman’s agreement” about Seth not getting another shot at the title if Priest is still the champion. Punk did screw over Seth, but Priest showed respect and honor to Seth, and he was the only one who could set that aside. It was another move toward a full face turn for Priest. He’s been an honorable champion since he won the title. I don’t know if I’m in the minority, but I actually like that he’s the champion right now, more than the idea of Drew being champion, because Drew’s looking like a dope in his interactions with CM Punk (except for the spot where Drew carried in a bloodied Punk, when he took the bracelet).

Simon to push back on the gentleman's agreement thing. They heavily implied that the reason Damian said that was because of the Ref screw up. If there was no screw up than Seth would be Champ and the agreement would be in place. It's not that they just decided to ignore it. If that hadn't happened, I guarantee they would not have ignored the agreement. So honestly i think your putting way too much thought into it. Seth got screwed so Damian did the babyface move BECAUSE their agreement was undermined by the ref and interference.

Do they hit every ball every time ? No. Not by a long shot. Do we call every single missed ball a botch that disrespects the fans ? No we do not. Also, every pitcher is trying to make sure the batter MISSES the ball, every pitch, every time. Are they successful one hundred percent of the time ? No, not by a long shot. Money in the Bank was fine. The women's ladder match was incredible. the ONLY way it could have been better would have been if Piper Nivin and / or R-Truth had shown up to try and lift Chelsea on their shoulders. Maybe if Piper had lifted R-Truth, and then Chelsea tried to climb the pair of them but come up an inch sort.

Making a new title doesn’t make sense. I already wasn’t behind the women’s tag team division despite GREAT women’s tag teams because there’s just not enough teams, and the men’s tag division barely gets any focus. A women’s IC title wouldn’t work because where’s the TV time coming from? Is it going to be another dual-brand title? Also Rhea Ripley’s return getting cut off is insane. Hurry up and move to Netflix-a platform which I hate-and move Smacksown there too. A show should be able to go 5 minutes over for something of this magnitude.

You know, while I agree that sooner rather than later Finn and Damian will have a falling-out, I don't think Damian not telling the others will be the reason. Because when Damian said "I'm not gonna say anything, Dominik will find out on his own" the others were grinning like mad - they knew exactly what was about to happen. Besides, I dunno what Finn has to do with Liv (yet), but JD will continue to oppose Dirty Dom and Liv because "that mustache has to go". Apart from that, this episode was great, one moment it was all super serious (like with Punk and Seth or with the Wyatt Sick6) and the next I was laughing out loud (pretty much all the Judgement Day segments). Good matches too, I hope Ilja Dragunov's shin is okay, he had a pretty nasty gash after hitting it on the top of Rita the Ringpost. What I also love is that many of the stories are intertwining, they're making callbacks to what was going on weeks and months (and years, in some cases) ago. So, yeah. Good episode, looking forward to Smackdown now. Edit: I have to disagree on your assessment of the Damian/Seth thing. Because it wasn't "you know, let's just not care about the stipulation", it was very much "you know, I really respect you, and it'd be a shame if we couldn't do that again soon, so let's agree to not keep up that agreement". It was also the most obvious face move Damian has done so far, so it all ties in - although it makes me wonder if Gunther will actually win at Hot Wrestlemania. That little agreement and handshake between Seth and Damian would've been pointless if Damian loses the title anyway and they can just have normal non-title matches (and/or Seth goes after Gunther). Then again, in that respect, if Damian loses the title, it will have been "another step down faceturn lane", so I guess it's fine either way.

hello Simon, first: thanks for all your good shows & your positivity ... but at minimum you were three times wrong this Raw, so i do the Simon-Corrector ;) 1) Liv and Dom are not a couple and betray Rhea; whenever the camera catches them, only Liv is the driving force ... she tries to seduce him, she helps him & Judgment Day to win matches, the only thing that is unclear is whether she is in love with Dom or whether she just wants to take him away from Rhea 2) not everyone is a fan of CM Punk, I wish he & Drew would have an Inferno match at Bad Blood with Drew carrying some extra gas ... 3) Damian will not lose his title against Gunther at Summerslam, so there are still at least four possible title candidates with Damian, Drew, Punk & Seth ... a face turn would then make little sense. The conditions that Damian is now throwing away for Seth are to his disadvantage. He does this because he wants to prove himself, it's about honor and who is better in a duel. Survivor Series could have an epic main event pitting these 4 + Gunther + X in an Elimination-Match...!!! Keep it up, you'll still get an UP from me!

When you think about it. Preist is right though. The match was between them both. So when Drew turned it into a triple threat it basically removed anything to do between both of them. It's like saying " Just because i pinned Drew. You don't get anymore chances." . I am sure Preist would've kept the agreement if he had pinned Seth in the one vs one match they had. If Drew came in after their match i think would've been a different story.

I really try to embrace Simon's positive thinking. And it's really helped digest wrestling in a more fun way. But man, I just can't get behind anything punk does. It seems he's being pushed as a face as opposed to Drew's heel character. Yet, everything he does and says comes off like a complete butthole. see my only problem with the seth hate towards punk is it's like 2 + 2 = potato logic for seth.....because as the match had unfolded Punks interference actually kinda saved seth from losing the match when he started attacking Drew, Priest is the one that knocked him out of the ring and there was quite a lot of time since that moment and when punk finished beating on Drew that in a normal triple threat you usually see Seth recover in that amount of time. Now if Punk had inadvertently ran over Seth or did something to really knock him out of it while wasting Drew, I could see it there but Punk's interference literally had no impact on the fact Seth didn't get the win. Perhaps it was supposed to be more like that but maybe after the botch they just didn't recover right. But also I did call it right after the match was over that Priest would agree to a rematch because it wasn't a clean win, which is his continued narrative that even though he hasn't had Judgement Day interfering, someone else has so he hasn't really had a clean win and still has that to prove to himself.

I think.. Damien only made the stipulation to show strength as a leader of Judgement Day. Money in the Bank goes down, he doesn't kick out. Punk ruins his finish. Seth HATES Punk because of all of this. And it's creating hell in Seth's professional life. Thinking about everything with Liv and possibly leaving Judgement Day and tension with Finn and Dom.. his real feelings towards Seth is he respects him and he never wanted to put Seth in that position in the first place.
