Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH’s Vehicle Integration Facility at Penske Commercial Vehicles, in Brisbane, Australia.
Under the far-reaching modernization programme Land 121 Phase 3B, Rheinmetall MAN is supplying the Australian Defence Force (ADF) with 2,536 protected and unprotected logistic vehicles and 2,999 specialist modules.
This new fleet is comprised of vehicles of varying weight classes and configurations including integrated load handling systems, medium weight cargo variants with and without cranes, medium and heavyweight recovery vehicles, tippers, and tankers. The cab chassis’ are delivered from Rheinmetall MAN’s plant in Vienna, Austria to the Integration Facility in Brisbane, where the vehicles undergo final installation activities before being delivered to the ADF.
