Rheinmetall presents HX 8x8 Excavator system

Rheinmetall expands their HX tactical truck portfolio with a high mobility excavator variant for engineering support and disaster relief in cooperation with Slovak company CSM. The self-propelled, multi-purpose landscaping UDS excavator mounted on Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles’ HX 8x8 pure military truck chassis is primarily intended for the support of engineering troops. The system finds its application wherever there is a need for immediate action to save lives and property, e.g. during natural disasters. It also plays an important role in military deployment, in securing technical means and structures as well as supporting the operation of combat units.
