Only Stephen Grootes can find a way to be sarcastic in any story. "Ray McCauley created a church after a career in bodybuilding" this might be a fact, but the timing of it is very funny. RIP to pastor Ray. I was a member at Rhema at some point. before deciding to explore a relationship with God outside of organized religion. However i must say at no point did i feel patronized or manipulated in any of his sermons. His message was always about love, faith and courage. And he needs to be commended for making sure that he passes the baton, Pastor Wayne Chafunya, speaking to Veronica in this interview was a Youth leader, it's good to see him speaking on behalf of the senior stuff. and there are other many people Mr McCauley has mentored including Bishop Mosa Sono from Grace Bible Church. I remember when he told the story of how the church lost white members, after he decided to welcome black people to the church, but that didn't discourage him, because he knew that was the right thing to do. My sincere condolences to the family and the congregation at large.

Did he really lose members because of allowing black people in Rhema? Did those white people come back and if not which church/es did they choose?
