Reading everyone else's comments about how helpful this was, and I usually agree. But damn - everytime an ECG comes up I feel like my mind just slows to a crawl.

I totally agree with you. I'm only 5 minutes in and in my opinion, this is for advanced individuals. I've been taking a Monitor Tech Course through the hospital I work at for 6 days and it hasn't been this complex. So to me this is definitely NOT "Made easy" in 13 minutes

As a new and unexperienced nurse I always feel kind of lost and gives me anxiety not being able to understand a basic EKG, but for the first time I found this info so clear, that with little study and practice I will be able to identify anomalies. Thanks so much for this video, already subscribed to the channel, very good topics in it.

Great video. I'm 7 months into the ED as a nurse and love it. I will say that most of our techs and nurses do Not care about lead placement and just slap them on wherever. Basically the leads 3-6 will be touching and in a straight line. Yikes.

Sorry Chiara! Maybe slowing down the playback may help, or if you're very fresh to ECG it would probably help looking at the way they function before interpretation. Once you've got that it'll be a good place to come to cover general interpretation. Good luck with your learning! 😊
