I am studying linguistics, and I can tell you that it really doesn't matter if you are an English speaker or not, as long as your languages contain those sounds. (which most have). Its more about HOW the sound is produced.

The only one that didn't work for me was the color changing one. I think perhaps it would've worked better had they shown two separate slides one after another rather than flicking back and forth between the two with little delay.
