Bro I make my own vegan jerky too and it happened by accident because I overcooked the soy and man oh man was it the best mistake ever. I made jerky every week for a month! I literally ate nothing else for 30 days. The best seasoning is the Ol' El Paso seasoning. I was making Tacos that day lol it ended up being salad tacos with jerky on the side

I have been a fan of Primal Spirit's Thai Peanut vegan jerky for many years now. It is made from wheat gluten instead of soy so it's no good for those with celiac or other gluten sensitivities, or peanut allergies, but if none of those apply to you and you'd like to try something which tastes a lot like satay beef I recommend it highly. I also like chopping it up and adding it to ramen noodles.

i love the teriyaki. i like the moisture, other ones are often too chewy and hurt my jaw. the louisville one is good in texture too, BUT i accidentally chose a flavour that was too spicy for me, so i didn't really like it :')

I think I remember having something similar to that primal spirit jerky when I was a kid, only it wasn't trying to be jerky at the time, it was just like a "healthy" Fruit Roll Up adjacent snack. I'm guessing they probably just changed their branding when the vegan alternative trend started, and that's why they're not as good as the "actually trying to be jerky" brands are.
