I heard of it... but it's far from common. It would've been better if they took a Frikandel Speciaal. It's not really a hotdog, but it is a sausage split in 2 with 2 sauces + unions put in-between. It basically serves as the buns. I think there are enough similarities to count it as some kind of specialty hotdog.

Yeah, same here. I think they are confused with the pizza with a hotdog crust, which is something we have in The Netherlands. New York Pizza has it. So did Domino's a while ago. We love putting our wieners in and over everything ;)

I am so happy you guys had the Colombian hotdogs, they are one of my favorite things to eat. Usually it has salsa rosada on it (which is basically mayo and ketchup mixed together) and crispy shoestring fries instead of potato chips but I think my fav part about is the pineapple 🤤
