I know they are doing this test for content (and it is super entertaining!), but as a scientist myself (caveat: not health related) I just can't get behind a company that claims to know it all. I think this is good for informational purposes but without context (viome has no context of the persons health history or habits, and customers have no context of the results because viome consistently uses jargon and seems to not explain significance or meaning of the results) it's hard to know the true significance. When you take these tests it should be understood that viome are not doctors, and any company that summarizes health information and lacks clarity in the meaning of results (see my explanation above), while also promoting supplements, is suspicious.

I'm not saying this is all bullcrap, scientifically, but I have to admit that my faith was lost at the blueberries. I'd want to check if the company doing these tests has invested in the canned fish industry. Also, technically, everyone in their 40s is in cognitive decline, compared to 20s or 30s. I have a feeling the science isn't fully sciencing.

While blueberries are generally considered healthy, a lot of fruits and veggies can be hard on the stomach because of the carbohydrates that are harder to digest. That's why people with IBS should avoid certain fruits and veggies. Same in a situation like this, the compounds within the fruits/veggies can cause digestive issues.

Just went thru security with my society shirt on.
