As a Canadian in Northern Ontario Canada, I can tell you it makes a big difference as to where you got the Ontario water. Northern water is so much cleaner than Southern Ontario.

The UK scores very highly, sole because of Scotland - English water is abysmal (Also part of the UK)... so if it can make up for that, that shows you how good Scottish water is.

Living in Ontario and working in water, I know there is a major difference in water throughout Ontario. Going from lake water to shallow well, to deep well can make a huge difference in taste.

We do have very hard water here in Texas, at least in the east part of the state. It’s very similar to the water in Louisiana. We have a water softener for our house and we filter our water too to get rid of the minerals.

Hah it's mostly because of the source. In my province, kinda like a state if you're murican, you get water from either ground water or from the surface like a lake. We have the most lakes and most fresh water in the world, so most of our water is surface, but my uni town was 100% ground water and it tasted sooo much better.

My hometown (Hamilton, OH) was awarded the best tasting water in the world in 2010, and other top 5 spots since. They bottle it every so often. When I was deployed, my family would send me some bottles every so often. Such a cool way to experience a "taste" of home
