great first case. just had a pt with that history. normal esr, crp, responded fast to 10 mg prednisone, very sensitive to tapers, still on prednisone low dose and its been 1.5 years while we are trialing dmards

Better to start at 1/320 for ANA to diagnose SLE, ANA by IFA is far superior as it screens 100 nuclear Ag autoantibody but ELISA screen for 3 nuclear Ag autoantibody
