I don't know what it is but I learn from your videos the most, other tutorials may be better audio quality but I just don't learn when watching them. Thank you and please keep posting basics tutorials!

It also works GREAT for quick cross sections!!! I drew a row boat and wanted to get the cross sections off the surface and I found your method the best, quickest and easiest!!! I drew a line and projected it onto all surfaces into the side view and the x-sections just popped up!!! Would you consider making a 1 minute video on how to extract the cross sections of a boat?

Hi. After applying the 2:10 project command, dozens of control points are formed on the curve formed on the surface. This problem also applies to curves created with the offset command. Is there a way to offset and project while keeping the original number of control points?

More control points are created because the new curve is more complex that the original curve. The RebuildCrvNonUniform command can be used to reduce the control points, but there is no guarantee that the rebuilt curve can be used to trim the surface because its accuracy has been reduced too. Cheers.

Can you make a video on how to make a fist? I'm interested in knowing how to connect the fingers to the top part of the hand, with the indents.
@simpernchong4 жыл бұрын
For something as organic as a fist, i think it is better to use a Sub-d Modeling program such as Blender. Then export the Pre-sub-D cage into Rhino as an OBJ for conversion into Rhino Sub-D and lastly Rhino NURBS. You might want to check out this video tutorial >> kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGrdfquLhKlmebc

Hi, this video tutorial was done using NURBS (Non Uniform Rational B Splines) Surface . But should work with for SuBD as well. Thanks.
