That the only hose I use is the rhino flex and the rhino extreme sewer hose and love how they they shorten up for storage

Are you still liking your decision to get the Airstream for your RV adventures? We're looking at a 2020 Globetrotter 27FB Twin with 2 AC's and Solar. Looks brand new and the only dislike is a small 3 way refrigerator. The new ones have a larger all electric refrigerator.

What is the best way to store the hose. I have seen plastic bags and small Totes? Thank you. Newbie here 🤗

Some RVs have a storage tube underneath for the sewer hose if you don't have that I would get a plastic container from Walmart. Size is about 15x24 and 6 inches deep. my 90 degree bend for the sewer line to the ground has the tabs but the force of the blackwater gushing through always turns it and works it loose , causing a black water leak on the ground !

This is why you see a big rock next to the sewer on some campgrounds. It will hold the elbo down for a better connections. Thanks for your comment.

If you have a septic you can perm leave hose hooked up too, how often should the hose be rinsed; weekly?

You can leave the hose connected but you should have a trap in the hose to hold some water to keep sewer gas and critters out. Or leave the sewer valve close except when dumping. I don't bother rinsing the inside of the hose, the gray water flush will do that and this is why you do black water first then gray water. As seen in the video, I do spray the ends with bleach water (9 to 1 ratio) once in a while but not every time I use it. You will find much more in my books on this subject. I have a newer one. Yes it came clear. I have a problem with it. I screwed it into the dump pipe. This must be secure or it could pop out giving you the same horrible mess you talked about with the old one. Turning it counter clockwise to remove it, it it comes apart and the orange piece is stuck in the dump pipe! The flanges on the orange piece are too wimpy and in the wrong place to use the Rino wrenches. How to I (63 yr old lady) get it out?

⁠​⁠@@stillToxed2lossWhen I turn the piece counter clockwise instead of lifting off when loose, I keep it pressed down and continue to turn counter clockwise to unthread the orange piece. You’ll have to work the sewer hose around as you continue to turn counterclockwise. This works for me.

I find the Sewer Solution a much better system than the “stinky slinky” type of hose. The Sewer Solution also will empty the tanks uphill. The hosing is easier to keep clean and store. I am at a loss why RVers are still using the stinky slinky.
