+lovethemack after several years of use I have to say this has been one of the best purchases i have ever made. There is a little noise at times. Seems to come from wind blowing sideways as I drive. Not bad though.

this is great. I have been looking into this system for my matrix as well. looks like it has a fairly low profile. could you tell me if the full height from roof to top of bar is less than 5"? I have a cargo carrier and the only way it will clear the garage door is if the height is less than 5". is also looking at Thule but they seem a little high.

+edward barth I just went out and measured the height from the roof to the top of the rack. its only 4"! You should have the clearance you need. (This is based off the toyota matrix)
