One of my greatest memories. My Dad, brother, and I (all heavily bearded men), were all going to a blues concert in a Chrysler 300. I was born in ‘85 and I remember my mom had the cassette and playing this in the 80 something Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser station wagon 😅 She passed away 2 years ago from heart failure and diabetes but I will never forget the great memories and music from my childhood. Totally agree, they were minimalists. Although in blues, rock and electronica (mix of sonic styles), the instrumentation, drums, vocals are just enough. They leave you wanting more. That's probably the secret, although it was already a magic formula, just enhanced.
