Crafty or not. You need to realize this is the era of "rock" music that came after the 70's where many of the popular rock songs had more sophisticated writing and singer/songwriter introspection. Sure, the 70's had its own fun songs with cheesy lyrics, but it wasn't filled with an entire rock genre that revolved around it for nearly a decade.

@@Riconnaissance Rock & metal traditionally had male fans mostly, but with Arrival of Glam/Hair metal these bands had more of girls following them, these bands cute boys who almost looked close to girls, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Poison many more. They had good musicians but they ended up being known for their hair clothes etc then their music, These bands did not have a prolonged career as other "old school" bands which are/were performing till few years back like say iron maiden, Metallica, Scorpions, Metallica etc. Most of these Glam Metal guys now have way shorter hair & dress more sensibly then they had before, It might be a transition, Glam metal was an important Milestone, but it did not last that long as it was more to fashion and clothes and less of music. Few talented musicians were chewed up and thrown out. Also this was the time when Songs were supported by Videos, this was the evolution of MTv, that also played important role in rise of Glam metal. MTv had great running as top channel for a decade of so at least for Glam metal, then slowly the RAP and later Hip Hop took over as the popular music.

I watched MTV constantly starting when I was like 9 years old so I remember loving this song, Dr feelgood, one spit and twice shy, the unforgiven, and so many more that were definitely above my head. I knew there was some risque lyrics but didn't fully understand obviously. It's just funny that this song would get so much Flack today, it's just a song. As time goes by we should get more liberated, but we're going backwards and it sucks.

You want things to be MORE Liberated? So you want older Men to have sex with your teenage and younger Daughters and Granddaughters ~ YOU approve of Pedophiles being Liberated to do as they want. If you believe in Almighty God Creator Of All Things, then you know that All those who are "Liberated" go to the Everlasting Lake Of Fire.

SJW's would run Kip over with a truck, they'll be protesting against the band from the roof of UCLA, waving banners and their gender studies majors.
@ChanceInHellProductions7 жыл бұрын
I think you mean "cops" not "SJW's" but... you should know... Winger formed in NYC where the age of consent is 17. So it's all good.

In the drummer world, he's known as Rod Morgenstein, one of the best left handed drummers ever known and he had his own line of signature sticks by Vic Firth at this time (1989), and Winger was best new Heavy Metal band of the year. So I think he has a right to smile. www.rodmorgenstein.com/about.html
