I am so very lucky to have lived through this amazing time in music. it's been 30+ years since this amazing decade has came and gone. but these songs are timeless in my eyes. I'm 60 now and I'm amazed to see kids in their tens loving this too. I've heard these songs played in other cou.ntrys. this as in all music transcends borders race religion and age. what I wouldn't give to go. back to this magic time in our history. a time when MTV actually played music and didnt fill their programing schedule up with teen pregnancy shows. imo the 80s also have the best TV shows ie Cheers, Night Court, etc. in and imo the best movies ie Ferris Buellers Day Off, Breakfast Club, Terminater , Rambo and may we never forget the best Batman of them all Michael Meeting. does anyone else here agree with me? @@carolinagirl7596 Thanks. That's amazing how technology has changed over the years. I still have old VHS tapes too, which are in boxes out in my shop. You're right, the shows that the kids grow up with today are alot different. I don't have any kids, but if I did, I'd probably lock up the TV's LOL. I love those old shows, and now they have a network in my area called, ME TV, that is showing them again. They show Andy Griffith, Gomer Pyle, I dream of Jeannie etc. Anyway, it's getting late and I'd better let you go for now. I look forward to talking to you again through email.
