Hello Doc, My Surgeon in the Philippines is a well known Doctor. At first the implant was fine but it started to moved down where it's pushing thru skin. Masakit. Nagka infection. My opinion I will never recommend Gore tex. So I had to get it removed here in the U.S. My Surgeon says they don't used Goretex here. It's been around decades but I think kinda new sa Pinas. Gore tex is NOT RECOMMENDED in the U.S.A SURGEONS.

I had an acquaintance who got an implant. He had so many issues after the implant that he eventually had it removed and after two years used bone from his rib. No problems after that. I recommend using your own material from your body.

Doc it is crucial that you emphasize that it will at least take a year to see the final result or for all of the swelling to finally disappear...a lot of people who were not informed about this and just jumped to surgery end up being depressed or having revision surgery way too early...

I been working in thailand and vietnam as a teacher...... i also visited different clinics all of the clinics in vietnam at thailand they DONT USE GORE-tex i dont know why..... only in the Philippines is that goretex is highly recommended but in other countries they only have silicone or rib implant

Hello carlo. Yes, even in Korea, they prefer more using Silicone, than Goretex. One factor is, even tho we all are in the asian ethnicity, or even just the the near continents, we still have dofferent cultures and body reactions to these implants. So koreans, japanese and chinese, vietam and thai may have different reactions to goretex and silicone. Thats why. So far, goretex still has the higher satisfaction rate here in the philippines. Next would be silicone. We surgeons always prefer pure cartilage using rib, that is the best, but, budget gets in the way. So we have to consider the economic status of the patients too. Do you agree? And do you understand?

☺️✌️ this is a very valid question. Extreme heat, hindi sya nageexpand. Nag-be-Bend 👍😉 Sinabi ko yan sa video. Baka malabo lang pagkakasabi ko. And, ganito nalang, imagine mo nalang, gaano kainit needed enough para ang isang tsinelas eh maDeform. Thats the amount of heat needed to bend silicone. So, samples are, Flame and fire Explosion accidents, funny enough pero yes extreme heat if nasa Volcano vicinity ka, which is a massive amount of body of liquid enough heat para kumulo sya. Matapunan ka ng Boiling water especially sa ilong. Leaked Microwave if malapit ka doon. I hope you get what 'extreme heat' means na kahit papaano. 😉👍

Personally I prefer Cartledge. Something from your own body give a more realistic and natural look vs silicon. Silicon gives the obvious unnatural look that you had something done. Most of the time it doesn't harmonize with the face...

Hi @Eek Lol ☺️ this is a good question. Regarding this, we doctors would prefer to treat the condition of blackbeads not by extraction but by other means. So you won't have to deal with 'extraction' anymore. There are many ways, like peels, moisturizers, microneedling etc. You still can extract but in a gentle way. But, in my clinic, my aestheticians are trained to do extractions even on post rhinoplasty patients. ☺️✌️ Basta dapat, in optimal condition ka na before undergoing these kinds of surgeries. So treatment ng pores mo first, would be best

Hi @Areej Namsu ☺️✌️ hmmmm, mahirap masabi ang maximum. Some have delayed healing, probably because may reaction sya sa implant. More than 1 year may swelling padin. Meron naman mga fortunate patients, in 2months, healed na yung gawa. On average, mga 6months would be fine. Pero basta after 1 week, aalisin na ang sutures, then after 3 weeks, safe na ulit magundergo ng heavy work. Like exercise and such.

Hi mikee, i actually explained it there. But, for your convenience :) most choose goretex because first, its reactive/allergic reaction tendency is lower than silicone implants. it still has pero lower rate. and as I said in the video, Goretex is more stable and really is 'mas makapit' on the structures on the nose especially the nasal bone, thats why its also hard to Revise. celebrities and althletes prefer goretex because of this reason, sice their work load demands a high amount of stress and exertion. the other reasons, try and listen the video again, takenotes and you can compare its pros and cons :) and watch my other videos too so you have a better idea okay?

@@irving7848 I used to work in plastic surgery hospital. Where specialized with Rhinoplasty. And Doctor used to told me that L shaped of silicon has alot of side effects. Therefore they stopped useing it since 2010. If you want you can try it with L shaped of silicon. But you might need to change it after 1 or 2years. Just up to you.

Doc, I have a question. Im a Resuscitation Nurse here abroad and because of covid 19 we were required to wear mask (n95) from the start of the shift (12hours) and surgical mask on station. 1. If i’m going for rhinoplasty which implant should i prefer and why? 2. Pressure caused by n95 would not harm my nasal structure if i decided to go for any implant? Hello Jerwin. Oh wow, kudos to you on being a Res RN! Mahirap ang responsibility na yan especially due to the covid19 regulations. But regarding your question, dont worry about it. As long as your healed, maybe in your 2nd week post procedure, you can already wear any kind of mask. Altho, still, as much as possible, try and wear something mo friendly to your nose, especially the bridge. Original respirators will be great, no pressure on the implant. But even tho on n95 masks, it wont be much problem to your rhinoplasty. Basta healed kna ha. And siguro, add 'Nose taping' before you put on your PPE gear.

Hey joseph. As long as youre DM is controlled, and you have a CardioPulmonary clearance from your doctor, then that would be fine. Mas prone ka lang sa complications but still, it can be done.

Hi Ran. Depende sa reason ng revision. If ok naman lahat, no infection or such, at gusto lang iparevise ang shape, then yes may revision charge. Pero if ang cause eh nagkainfect, or may tabingi, we still have to investigate whats the cause. If galing sa clinic... Then no charge. Pero if galing sa ang cause sa patient, like poor cleaning, hindi tinatakpan ng gauze, smoking padin, even alcoholic drinks, or matamaan, those could cause complications, so may charge yung ganun. Ok?
