You have been a great help to me and other learners. I think, most of the students of your channel wait for your class. Because your class always gives us motivation to learn English. You know, most of teachers in our country take their English class in a boring way. I think, their teaching method has problems. They teach in such a way that after doing their class, students find no motivation. They just know how to insult their students. In this way they discourage the learners. They just want to finish their syllabus. They have no intention of teaching. Eventually, students hardly find clear idea of their lessons. On the hand, we have some teachers who obviously have a great intention to teach their students. Their class gives us freedom and encouragement to learn English. You are one of them. স্যার, ধন্যবাদ আপনাকে। আপনার ক্লাসগুলো করে উপকৃত হচ্ছি। এই ক্লাস করে আমি কয়েকটি বিষয়ে বুঝতে পারছিনা। দয়া করে আমাকে সাহায্য করবেন- ১। " চোরটাকে শাস্তি দেয়া দরকার ছিল = The thief need have been punished " লিখেছেন। এখানে ' needs ' না হয়ে ' need ' হলো কেন, যেহেতু ' the thief ' হচ্ছে 3rd Person Singular Number? ২। " রাস্তাটি মেরামত করা দরকার = The road needs repairing " এবং " চোরটাকে শাস্তি দেয়া দরকার = The thief needs to be punished " লিখেছেন। এখানে ' মেরামত করা ' কিংবা ' শাস্তি দেয়া ' দুইটাই তো তৃতীয় পক্ষ করবে। তাহলে বাক্য দুইটির Structure দুইরকম হলো কেন?

Sir,আমি যেটুকু বুঝলাম, need যদি, modal ,affirmative হিসাবে ব্যবহার করতে হয় তবে need to করতে হবে। Main verb হলে verb এর সাধারণ নিয়ম(be verb এর মত) Interogative ও negative এর ক্ষেত্রে শুধু need ,modal হিসাবে বসবে।
