Hi Heather! I'm currently going through chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer. Since i'm having chemo 3x's a month, I can't do any traveling so next year when my treatment ends in March 2017, my husband's going to take me on a weekend trip to Santa Barbara.. I can't wait. I've was currently a size 4-6 but with the hysterectomy and chemo treatments my weight has dropped considerably to a 2-4 along with all the other side effects, losing hair and having no energy. I think the pink dress will look gorgeous on me in Santa Barbara!

I had to delete my original answer. After reading other's comments, I think I'm very blessed already in my life. I wanted to give it to my mother. However, there are some here battling cancer and/or cancer survivors. THEY deserve to win. Pink is the color for breast cancer awareness anyway. So how perfect! These women are the deserving ones. Hi Heather, absolutely loving this series! Especially loving the dress you wore on the recent reunion :) So when I heard you were giving the dress away, I was really excited and I hope I'm the lucky girl who gets it! This dress is perfect for one of the biggest moments in my life that is about to come up - my graduation from dental school and the moment I get to be called Doctor!! It's been a long 8 years getting to this point - from personal family issues in college that almost took me off the pre-dental track to simply surviving the grueling schedule for the past 4 years in dental school. While to some, a dress is simply a dress and is not that serious..I wholeheartedly disagree. To me, clothes serve as memories and I can recall important moments in my life from the clothes I wore that day. For instance, I can pick out a shirt from the closet and tell you a memory I had it in. So, the dress I wear to my graduation is going to signify all the sacrifices, the time, and the dedication it took to get to this point. When I first saw this dress on you on the reunion episodes, I knew that this is THE dress I wanted to get my doctorate diploma in. Everything about the dress - from the style, the esthetic, the cut, the fit - would make me feel like a boss! If I win, I know that this dress is going to be with me for the rest of my life and signify this major milestone that I will always hold fondly and close to my heart. While I am moving onwards to become a pediatric dentist so I can work with special needs children and adults, I really hope to win this beautiful dress to represent this personal achievement that I get to share with all my family and friends soon! Hi Heather! I would love to win this dress to encourage me to get fit and healthy in hopes I could wear it in 6 months from now. Let me explain. I'm a musician and last year I made a huge move across the country. It was scary since I wasn't guarunteed income as an artist, but I knew it would give me more opportunity in the long run. When I moved, I became very depressed and overweight (gained almost 50 pounds) as I tried to get back on my feet financially. It was a rough time and I didn't think there was a way out. It was only in the last 3 months that I finally started to get work again after nearly 9 months of nothing-- certainly a miracle considering how dark of a place I was in. So anyways, I've been working out and eating better lately and have plans to lose the 50 lbs and get down to my goal weight by June 2017, and it would mean the world to have this exquisite dress (from my favourite person!) waiting for me at the finish line. I've already lost about 7 pounds, so I've been feeling the fire to get my health back on track. Next year is my 10 yr high school reunion, that's is exactly where and when I would wear this show stopper. I had a very abusive home life and tended to be a loner in high school. As an adult I have grown into who I always dreamed, I'd like to be. I was embarrassed of my home life and felt my peers could see it, right though me. That I was unworthy. Now as a mother wife, I've realized I deserve happeiness. I'd also wear your beautiful dress for new yrs and dates with my loving husband of eight years. I'm a hairstylist and make-up artist by trade. But now I'm a stay at home mom while my husband works full time and goes to school full time as well. This dress is the perfect combination of flirty and classic/conservative. It is exactly the type of dress I am looking for to wear to interviews I have in the upcoming months. It's also the color for Breast Cancer awareness; both my mother and grandmother are greats cancer survivors so pink is very near and dear to our hearts!
