I think the whole scene with Katie’s husband was a miscommunication. I think Shannon was upset just after a confrontation and when Katie’s husband said you should walk away, leave, she probably thought he meant their home. It probably triggered her to the night Heather threw Shannon out of the house. She was too defensive to realize he was actually on her side, telling her to walk away from the confrontation. This is a trauma response because Shannon is so used to being attacked. The alcohol definitely doesn’t help.

I’m not always a Shannon fan, I think she’s highly strung and is probably no picnic to live with, but I think she’s hit rock bottom and she’ll get better. I think Emily talked smack. I agree with Sarah I'd believe Emily's sons over Katie's daughter. Katie and her daughter both obviously want to be on tv and are attempting a very obvious takeover. If Katie's family simply focused on being likable and making friends with the cast instead these rehearsed quips and flimsy lobs, theyd probably have a better chance at making a stronger footing in the storyline. And honestly when Shannon was talking to Kati'es husband and he went from being nice to being totally dismissive...that was scary, it made me uncomfortable. I get Shannon is annoying, but it was really weird to me how his demeanor flipped like that
