What I love about the Violent Femmes is this feeling I get of teamwork. I don't think I can say that about many other bands. They have this way of looking at each other when their cue is coming up. I went to one of their concerts a long time ago and I remember them rolling out the xylophone.

Along comes my new friend, Theresa, who LOVES them and drags me, kicking & screaming, to a little venue in Long Beach CA, called Fender's Ballroom...and I was SOLD! Loved them ever since.
