I absolutely like the idea of having a top-notch virtual Rhoads, and I'd definitely like to try this one. But at the same time: Knowing that the real ones sound and feel all slightly different, makes them so much more "special" to me... I've been lucky to play a few real ones in various studios over the years, varying from pristine to borderline-gone 🤣 and they all inspired me to approach my parts in a specific way. Same with Hammond organs: they all vary somewhat and therefore react differently to your playing, and I have a gorgeous '61 A100 with Leslie 122 for that reason. A REALLY good virtual instrument will get the job done often enough, sure. But generally I do rely on the real deal to coax me to create something I hadn't thought of before...

Thanks for stopping by and watching the review. I can relate to your comment as I am church organist and although sampled instruments are good, they don't quite capture the nuance of the organ. Each one has it's own quirks and sound that coaxes something out of you.
