Rhodes V8 Pro - Mike Pensini's Artist Patches

G'day legends! Welcome to the demo of my Artist Patches included with the Rhodes V8 Pro plug-in, a fantastic software emulation of the new Rhodes Mk8 electromechanical piano, complete with modeled FX. I had a blast creating these patches for Rhodes and wanted to capture a cross-section of what the Rhodes sound really meant to me.
Everything you're hearing here is direct from the Rhodes V8 Pro plugin - no external effects or processing has been added.

Hi Mike love your patches it's my first time hearing about the V8 pro I just picked up keyscape first of the year if I may ask which one do you like the best or sound more like the real Rhodes?

Both are excellent! They're emulations of different Rhodes models - Keyscape has some excellent Mk1s and their custom blue Rhodes while the V8 is a very in depth emulation of the new Mk8.

I demoed this. I don't think it's nearly as good as keyscape. The notes hang too long and decay in a really annoying way where it just sounds like a soundfont or something. It's impossible to do any percussive playing with it. It's seriously lacking in playability, and needs better release noises. Effects are effing amazing though.
