I've had both and on the whole I prefer the Rhodia. The paper is better quality, more suitable for fountain pens. There is a perpetual calendar, which is really useful. The dots are clearer, also very helpful. Apparently there is now a new hard cover version of the Goalbook. Can't comment on it obviously but I'd love to give it a try, it has three bookmarks and is very slightly larger in all round dimensions than the soft version. There is also an elastic penloop, which doesn't come on the softback. Might be worth looking into the hard cover.

I just can't get over those bookmarks but I LOVE the smoothness of that Rhodia paper

Got to be the Rhodia for me, tbh. And I also break down their softcover notebooks to use the squared paper in my Filofaxes.

ohh. I like that strategy. Rhodia uses paper made by the Clairefontaine paper company. It's not exactly the same but I find the Clairefontaine paper very similar and they have a variety of loose leaf options. ✍🏼

Thank you for informative video. I was considering trying Rhodia, but I guess I'll just keep on using Leuchtturm. I'd suggest that english speakers would just use translation of Leuchtturm - 'Lighthouse' instead of striving with the pronunciation.

"Lighthouse" is an awesome suggestion! Thanks. Now that Rhoda has a hard cover goal book, I really liked using that. I used it as my Bullet Journal for 2021.

Lol unfortunately most Americans would have no idea what a lighthouse journal is.

The TN cover is from Chic Sparrow. It's an outlander leather in the color time traveler.
