'The Real Housewives of Dubai' star Caroline Brooks doesn't mince words when it comes to her estranged friendship from Taleen Marie, hitting back at what she says are lies peddled by the season 2 newbie. Caroline explains her comments about Taleen 'begging' to join the show, and sheds some light on why Taleen's budding friendship with Caroline Stanbury rubbed her the wrong way. Plus, she fires back at speculation she has a drinking problem. The Glass House owner also previews the cast's explosive trip to Bali and shares her hopes for reunion. I love Brooks and recently just saw an interview with Sara who spoke on why she & Brooks have conflict with Stanbury... that Stanbury told Brooks her & Nina not to speak with Ayan, to have no contact with her while she was contacting Ayan & getting super close with her, Ayan showed them receipts... she also said that off camera Taleen told Brooks to go after Stanbury & how Taleen literally cried and begged Brooks to do that. So I think Taleen is gorgeous, a good Mum, but used Brooks to get on the show.

Brooks is Dubai's Tamra/Rinna. I didn't see Taleen jumping ship like how she describes it. Taleen saw that Brooks was using her against Stanbury and to avoid being a one-off HW she made bonds with the other women, as she should being on the show together. It is always a bad idea to just have one bond on the show coz if that falls apart you get left out completely. Taleen called Brooks out on being an instigator on cam but it wasn't even that deep and more of a behavioral check but Brooks wanted that to be the thing that breaks the camel's back on their friendship since her original plan vs Stanbury fell through coz Taleen didn't play along. Whats frustrating with Brooks and some of the HWs across all franchises is that when they agree to move on, they don't necessarily follow thru with it. And Brooks going into every group scene wanting to create a blow out is not cute. I like a bit of fun shade but she's just messy and not even covert about it.

I believe what Sanbury said about Brooks not being able to be happy for other’s successes. She’s done it to several of the women. She can call it “shade” all she wants. She loves to see them unhappy, unsuccessful and the friendships falling apart all because she’s not happy with herself. I think she wants to be more successful than she is at this point in her life and she’s just not there yet. Once she’s happy, she’ll be able to be happy for others. She just can’t help herself.

Brooks really can’t take accountability for anything. I’ll still always remember how she yelled like crazy at her friend who visited her 1st season. How she boasted that they were close friends & then her own friend called her cold towards her son & then after telling her son that she’d tuck him into bed she asked the help to do it so she could sit back & continue to drink with her friends. And then how she claimed to be self-made while also boasting that her ex-husband built her salon & her ex-boyfriend invested in it. Doesn’t mean she’s not a hard worker but she’s accusing Taleen of being a social climber when Taleen is already in prominate social circles because of her husband being a CEO for one of Dubai’s leading development construction companies & Taleen’s had her own career as a singer. Brooks seemingly is great at choosing rich men who she’s able to convince to buy her a fancy lifestyle or invest in her. Again, doesn’t mean she’s not a hard worker but the image she paints isn’t as independent as she paints. The labels Brooks self promotes herself to be, don’t fall in line with her actions so now when she throws accusations at what other people have supposedly done, it’s pretty safe to assume that her definition or version of events aren’t necessarily accurate. We’ e even seen on the show how she embellishes in her retelling of events. She comes across as stubbornly delusional & completely unable to be truthfully self aware.

Despite the drama between these two women I really cannot stand the way that Brooks talks about things. She is so rude and disrespectful when she is speaking to people and when she's speaking about people. I believe someone even said that the energy in the room changes when she's there. Even if someone has disrespected her the way that Brooks comes off she's just not someone that I would even feel comfortable talking to. She is not my cup of tea and I feel like she enjoys the chaos that she brings to the show. Don't get me wrong none of these women are perfect and they all bring different levels of drama.
