This is what " country radio " stations should be playing. They just don't know what they're missed. Damn shame.

Why in the hell don't you here song like this on the radio...It's more country than what's on there now...

I'd dearly love to hear a duet with her and Alison Krauss.

Jeff Tappan: Probably won't happen, but "their paths have crossed." A fiddle-playing champion but still very young and pre-fame, Alison stepped into the Vincent family band (Sally Mountain Band) void when Rhonda went solo in about 1992. Rhonda told me that Alison even wore some of her clothes. I wish KZbin allowed photo attachment - I would share a photo of the two of them waiting to go on stage. Neither one of them looks thrilled. :-)

Patsy Cline was the undisputed Queen of Country Music. Elvis was known as the King of Rock n Roll. Rhonda Vincent is without a doubt the Queen of Bluegrass. Just a fantastic voice!! I could listen to her sing all day!

i love rhonda but i think alison krauss is bluegrass queen
@shirleys7657 жыл бұрын
Ziva-millz Uoka. I respectfully disagree. Alison Krauss has switched her style so much over the years. Rhonda has stuck to her roots and is the queen of bluegrass.

It's a big club. I've loved her since 1992, when I happened to catch (on VHS tape) her singing the country version of this same song. She made 3 country albums before coming home to Bluegrass. You can watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpbVoWOLq6uGaac

Her voice is so "country" that she was persuaded to switch from bluegrass to country, where she made three albums (including the first release of this song) before returning home to bluegrass. On all performances of this song her voice sounds the same - and I say, don't change what's perfect. :-) Thanks for the good comment!

Rhonda Lea Vincent (born July 13, 1962) is an American bluegrass singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. In 2000, The Wall Street Journal proclaimed Vincent "the new Queen of Bluegrass

Vincent's musical career began when she was a child in her family's band The Sally Mountain Show, and has spanned more than four decades. Vincent first achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970s and '80s, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music

DAMM....that DOBRO attacks the heart. WOW....Harmonies amazing. Sing it girl.
@SidsCardShop7 жыл бұрын
Joey C: And it was Rhonda playing that Dobro - I asked her, no editing trick. Now she has a son-in-law with a college degree behind his Dobro playing. If you watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIWli4x5apV4mbs you'll find a radically different tempo, but Brent was gracious enough to give me a private performance of "End of the World," and it gave me goosebumps just like Pete Kirby's playing does. Also, an author's note about the video if you watch it: my close-up camera had something weird going-on and made Aaron's $150,000 banjo look out-of-round, along with broadening everything else - noticeably Rhonda's legs, so I limited the close-ups because of that. :-)

True love never dies, although Jesus can give you peace when in your situation. Another song to empathize with you is Janie Fricke's "You Don't Know Love". The verses are kind of vague, but the chorus will "get you".
