My Mom had Dementia and went to a Nursing Care Facility. She lost a lot of her memory, but could always remember scripture and words to the older hymns. Many others there did as well. Came from the spirit man❤

We would sing harmony like you, for hours. My uncle passed away to glory on Easter weekend. As a young girl he sat me at the piano and taught me this song...If You Want Joy. Thanks so much. Back when I was 15 years old I met a friend that had a brain tumor the doctors said he would not live past 25 he song this song until he died at age 52 he lived longer than doctors said he would. I song it with him it has a lot meaning. If your have been touch by god then you need to believe in his word and ask him to touch you with other people praying for you to.

Worked in a certain nursing home 3 years, an elderly lady with Alzheimer’s hadn’t spoke for years. When the residents were brought to common are a Pastor and his wife ( playing piano) sang Amazing Grace. This beautiful lady sang it all! Didn’t speak again. But it was obvious her brain and heart were perfect.
