RHONJ 'Reunion' is Off The Rails w/ Matt Rogers (RHONJ 'Reunion' Full Recap)

What's up Bros? We needed to bring together a BravBro summit to discuss whatever that Jersey 'reunion' was, so we called fellow BravBro, Matt Rogers, to help us break it down. In this episode we cover all things Jersey. From the 'reunion' at Rails, to the future of RHONJ, and some of Matt's thoughts from his recent stint on WWHL. Is the new cast of RHONJ just the Marge/ Melissa room at Rails? Could be the right fit rather than starting from scratch. Between the two rooms at the "reunion", you had one room making comments about physical appearance and physical traits, while the other room (sure they took some digs) but were able to actually have some discussions reminiscent of a reunion, i.e. conflict resolution. We talk about what lead to the downfall of the show, could it be a specific individual? A recent husband to the group perhaps? Then, what does this show look like without Teresa? The Bros discuss a Tre-Free Jersey and what that could do for the franchise. Jackie was an absolute disaster this season and it was only highlighted in her performance in the 'reunion' by trying to suck up to Teresa at every chance she could get. All in all, there are a LOT of question marks about the future of this show and we break it ALL down.

I love that Matt had the courage to call out the inorganic T support. We’ve seen this across both Housewives and in the political arena. There is a toxic base of inauthentic and inorganic support for certain people, turning the normies off. The word “weird” is absolutely perfect. Love Matt! I agree with almost everything you said. Here's my take. Teresa is an angry, delusional, violent narcissist herself. From day 1, she's always blamed everyone else for every thing. She has never taken accountability for anything. Enter Luis, also a violent narcissist with a history of DV. He has a very well honed love bomb shtick. Teresa was a perfect mark . She isn't smart enough to notice it or the gaslighting. He follows the abuser's handbook to a T. First, alienate her from everyone. Luis knew Joe and Melissa saw him for what he is so he had to separate them. She's on ozempic, hence being so thin. Dolo won't speak up to warn her because she knows Teresa will cut her out completely. Just my take.

I’ve been sick of Teresa for at least 3 seasons. She just never moves on and is a broken record on whoever she’s got beef with. It’s so unbelievably boring to watch. Her new man is a piece of crap and watching her burn her family and friendships down for him is just sad to watch but we’re sick of it.

Matt was 100% right! Teresa brings nothing. She’s the common denominator of every issue throughout the years. She doesn’t know how to bring fun shade. She’s not funny. She’s not intelligent or smart. On her first season Danielle explained that she gave her opinion about something to her sister in law and offended her sister in law, surprise, surprise. Then when she sent her sister in law a baby gift for having a baby, the sister in law and brother returned the gift. Danielle has such a mouth on her, that I’m not at all surprised that she pissed of her family. But, I can’t believe you think Danielle is boring. Guys don’t forget this franshise started to rival Mob wives. They very much gave old Italian mob ties with the Manzos and the gorgas. And it was good for a very long time. All of the housewives shows are about social dynamics between women. Mess will always be involved. It’s not the cast but production that has gotten lazy over the years, to the point where these women like a Jen Aden feels like she has to manufacture and produce explosive tv moments. That’s the darkness. Getting the blogs involved. The point is conflict and resolution. I would say keep Tre if she could admit she was wrong; apologize and move forward. She was not in much of this season and the girls got along seemingly well besides Jen Aiden. IMarge and Jackie could be in the same room. Marge dropping that little bit about Mel giving them clothes sent Jackie. Tv gold! Tre is refusing to show up, refusing to bend, refusing to compromise. We want the wealth porn, we want the fashion, the lavish parties and vacations. We want to see them have a good time and bicker over frivolous shit. That is the ethos of housewives. We don’t want to see the husbands make testimonials for their wives. We want the men on jersey to take shots til the ambulance is called

The pajama episode had 6 of them no problems at all. Even Jen Aiden acted fine. They all clocked in instead of Tre. Let’s see Jen Aiden without Teresa. Rachel and John are good. Danielle and Nate are good. Scenes with Marge and Fessler are good. Melissa doesn’t bring much but Joe brings an element to housewives no other franchise has yet to replicate. Joe and Frank are great TV. When they pushed Danielle husband in the water like season 11… tv gold! Give Tre here own show. Let her fans still have her. Namastay making meatballs or something.
