***** They do it in much more abstract ways and play on words much more often than others. A simple line for them is "burying peace pipes, diggin up the hatchets". A complex line is something like "Take drugs with no conscious, my pupils dilate (die late) like columbine killers with slow watches!" It's not the bragging about your wealth or bitches stuff most are doing. They do a lot more with words and flip phrases all the time even in this video. Yes they're horrorcore but no other horrorcore artist play with words and phrases in metaphors or double meanings the way they do. There is a lot more going on in their style than just "piecing together rhymes in a semi-related fashion"

arexyouxepicxenough True shit and dude compared them to Tech N9ne or something and then said they get old lol. I have every Tech album ever and have been a huge fan of him for years and years and Rhyme Asylum puts him to shame. What he does is rhyme scheme rap. Everything rhymes with everything and that takes a massive amount of talent but the problem is that it leaves his lines with little to no meaning half the time. With RA, it triggers your mind way more often and you catch things still after like the 5th time you heard the song. They are both genius in their own way.

***** A lot of rap have their most impressive parts of their lyrics in multis as well. Rhyme density with a decent flow which is dictated by the rhymes is impressive to me. That's cool that you appreciate subject matter above all else but I'm just pointing out A LOT of thought goes into what they're saying. I love the over the top nature of Rhyme Asylum's play with your expectations rhymes. "Cut myself shaving with hell razors Pop pills and get my stomach pumped with 12 gauges" It's the thought that goes into a line like that compared to some Eminem lines like this "Battle? I'm too weeded to speak to, the only key that I see to defeat you Would be for me to remove these two Adidas and beat you And force feed you 'em both, and on each feet is a cleat shoe" Why is Em's impressive? Multis. He rhymes internal rhymes with other internals but it's mostly just straight threats, where as Rhyme Asylum's line is more imaginative and has a climatic twist ending to the line. Lyrics matter the most in rap, even if it's a braggadocios song.
