Came here from Our Flag Means Death...he's wonderful!

He kept being like "I know I'm rambling" but the rambling was amazing!! Also I had no idea about Rosie's career that's incredible how prolific she was and I really respect people who lift others up with them. I was a child during Flight of the Concords so I have a lot of TV to catch up on lol -- also so true how the more serious the environment the more ripe it is for comedy.

If I hadn't got the ADHD vibe from Rhys before, I have now. I answer questions in the same multi-threaded, rambly way. He is so charismatic!

So nice to get all this insight into Rhys' life, as a new fan from OFMD. Most of the other interviews were more about the show, or his other works, so I really enjoyed getting to know him as a person for a change.

If you enjoyed this, you should listen to the Pretty Depressed podcast episode with him on it. He had a lot of interesting stuff to say about his upbringing, family, and career.

it's such a great caricature on the "classic basic bitch cowboy shirt" I love it

parts of that (brilliant) interview are so fucking bleak, I'm not sure he realises it or whether he just plays over it but daaaamn the boy's been through it. even more kudos to him that he came out of them so incredibly, incredibly kind, well-adjusted and now bringing so much love and joy to so many other people. Genuinely hope he's happy and know how beloved he is because god damn, he really, really is!

Really great interview!!! Lovely to see Rhys talking about his own story. I'd love for him to get more questions about Rosie more often too.

There is something so utterly sweet and charming about the New Zealand accent. Kiwis sound so positive, i think because of the hight pitch at the end of a sentence..not sure, but love it!

This was great! 👍 Didn't understand vast swathes of it because I'm a Brit, but it was lovely to hear how he got his start. 😊

I love this interview because this is how I found out about what a dynamo Rosie is.

Aw the bit at the end reminded me of an Amanda Palmer line. "I still get laughed at but it doesn't bother me / I'm just so glad to hear laughter around me"

Lmfaoo i thought i wanted to be a doctor for a while in school then realised i was so squeamish and actually just wanted to be the actor playing the doctor, wasted so much time struggling through a level biology which, a few weeks into the class, i realised deep down had no interest in 😂
