Took a couple horns to my tech (was buds with Roland Kirk) and played this for him. It went like this... Head: "Hmm. Yeah, they sound pretty good." Your solo: "Oh. Oooooh. Geeeeze." I went to say something and got the "talk to the hand" gesture. I waited to say something during Steven's solo but the hand went up again. Figured I better shut up until the end. 😅

This looks and sounds great. Separate mics is the way to go for a crowded club. You are my hero for keeping your cool and concentration while that loudmouthed, drunken, mullet-head was yelling right up front. Cesare too. He just smiled and kept playing. I love the stare you gave him starting @0:55. I'd have thrown my horn at him. (So much for playing with your eyes closed.) Bottom Line: You can't hear him in the video and you guys were just awesome.
