30 plus years later and this song is more than relevant. Love these guys!!

When I was at Wayne State, the first sign of Spring was the Free Rhythm Corps concert on campus

If you don't know Rhythm Corps, then you missed one of the greatest late 80s rock bands that got killed off by Nirvana (and grunge)...I was lucky to stumble on them decades ago, but one of my favorite bands to this very day. Love these guys!

I just found this cassette tape in a box that I've had packed away for about 20 years. I couldn't really remember who they were so I put it in my tape deck. I'm glad I did. I listened to both sides without skipping a song. I can guarantee that I will be adding the Rhythm Corps to my play lists. These guy's are absolutely great and I'm glad to see that they are still around.

Wow. I had no idea these guys were still playing gigs. They sound pretty damn good, too. "Common Ground" is such a perfect song.

In my "humble opinion" - this is one of the most underrated and unappreciated songs - EVER. Also, had U2 done this, it would've been known as their masterpiece and played at every peace conference, for eternity.

It's mid August 2024. This song is more relevant now than it's ever been. What are YOU going to do over the next 83 days? If not for yourself, then for your kids or grandkids, for your neices and nephews, for your young siblings and their friends, for the next generations of Americans who deserve to live in a nation where democracy and equality and ethics and empathy and compassion have already made our country great. It's up to all of us to decide whether or not this American experiment will survive much past its 250th birthday. It's up to all of us to choose hope, love, respect and decency over fear, hate, anger and incivility. We can't go back. We won't go back.

What’s the date and place of this recording? Looks recent. Are they touring?
@scottchristian38994 ай бұрын
2016 at the Royal Oak Music Theater in Royal Oak, Michigan. They still do an occasional show every now and then but no actual touring.
