i got into rhythm heaven a few weeks ago because this appeared in my recommended and for some reason i really liked it so i watched it more times, then kept getting rhythm heaven stuff in my recommended, and dreams of our generation ended up being the only song I listened to for a few days. i didn't expect it to become an obsession but i have adhd and i normally get obsessed with all my interests so. here we are. rhythm heaven is currently my main interest somehow, i found out my older brother has megamix so he gave me his old DS to play it and i've been addicted to it. playing and watching rhythm heaven makes me really happy for some reason and it's been really helping me with my anxiety. i like how there's no actual story to the games (megamix has a story but. eh). there's no lore that i know of and the characters like, barely have personalities, but i love them all and for some reason they're really comforting to me. I'm here writing this comment right now to distract myself from anxiety and overthinking. i know nobody read all that since im just ranting and everyone apparently came here from rule 34 or some shit but. rhythm heaven is very important to me so i thought i'd share that somewhere edit: I was 14 when I wrote this and I’m 17 now, this is super corny but I just wanted to say I am doing a lot better in terms of anxiety now. I still love rhythm heaven to death though I’m not hyperfixated on it anymore, but I’ve been revisiting it lately!! My freshman year of college, one of my 3 room mates brought his wii and had this game. I thought it was quite lame at first but then I started playing it and man it caught on to me so fast. We played this game so much and became such pros to it. This game and many many other games that my room mate brought drew everyone from our floor over to our room to play games and chill. Our room became the place to be when anyone had free time to spare. Never was our door closed and never was the room quiet. From us free style rapping, screaming from horror games, singing along to weird disney songs or trying to go along to a beat in a video game, there was always something going on. Man... one of the best years of my life was in that room with my room mates, or should I say my best friends. And it all started with a wii, a rhythm game, and a dream lolol. I miss those times so much, and coming back to tap and snap my fingers to remix 10 always gives me that nostalgic and surreal feeling that I had. What a great game and what great memories its brought to me. :')
