This was one of those key early songs for learning the technique that I personally call "cross-reverse step" (I dunno what everyone else called it)- the technique where you face side ways to step across the pad and back and then turn to face the other way to do it on the other side. You can see it most clearly at 0:36 where the pattern goes left-down-right-down-left-up-right-up-left. You would face right to hit the first 4 steps by stepping across to hit right with your left foot, then when your left foot got back to the left pad again you'd pivot your body around to hit up with your right foot and hit the right pad with your left foot again by stepping _backwards._ It was a simple technique that came naturally with practice, but until you realised what this combination of notes was asking of you you'd frantically be trying to double-tap the steps with the same foot to avoid turning around, getting the timing bad and wearing yourself out. It was the kind of technique that, once you grasped it, really put the _Dance_ in "Dance Dance Revolution". If you _hadn't_ managed to grasp the technique by this song (or Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix), another relatively simple song that used it) then songs like Exotic Exthnic or V (particularly V's Challenge chart) would friggin' _slaughter you,_ to say nothing of later songs.

@@Fierying I'm new as well (can't even do a level 10), but If I've learned correctly, that would just be a crossover?

@@almost_friday9745 yeah it's a two crossovers but you end up facing both left/right one after the other

Apart from this and Furuhata’s theme, does DDR have any other Japanese Cop show tv themes? I wouldn’t be surprised if Galileo’s theme was in one of the set lists.

The song is awful but the stepchart is awesome, note that it is harder to do 0:24 on keyboard/controller than on a real machine

To answer some questions, Thomas Howard Lichtenstein was the first announcer (1st-5th Mix), and Paula Terry is the announcer for Extra Mix and Dancing Stage Fusion (the PS1 version). I have no idea who are the announcers for DDRMAX-Supernova 2, X, and the Ultramix series.
