I feel like the main problem is that he seems to rely on visual cues instead of the actual rhythm. It always seems like he does much worse when it's hard to see what's going on. Just feel the beat dude, maybe try practicing levels and close your eyes! It helps. :)

Ohh... Remix 3 was an awful difficulty spike imo. I remember doing well several times, but I couldn't have even a bad section if I wanted the OK. And the song's long, so it's not like 2 - which was hard, but short.
