FINALLY!! someone who actually used all 3 of the samples and made them work together & also i liked how he actually worked his way around the store to get sounds from different sections not just in 1 section like how the others have honestly only Dj nu-mark,Statik selektah, & kirk knight are the best so far i give it to kirk for being a young producer & holding his own but mass appeal needs to stop playing & just have madlib or 9th wonder on here

Incredible! What's even more amazing is how he used a sample that Nujabes used. Yet instead of using it how Nujabes did. He flipped it and made it sound nothing like how Nujabes flipped it. Respect! This is 1 reason why I love hip hop!

I'm a 100% old school guy. I use my MPC, my S900 and strictly 50-70s vinyl for my beats. One beat = one floppy disc. But thats just me. This shows that you can make dope sample based music with any equipment, just be respectful to the game, learn your craft and don't be too lazy to try and learn new things. And sampling is true art!! I play 6 diffrent instrument and I'm classical trained, but I still make old skool beats, because its an artform for itself!

I agree but Mingus & Benson? Who could fail with that? Still he did use all 3 records...and I think he's the only 1 so he gets respect for that. It was an amazing beat too & he paired the samples with his ears, not that much tweaking. He may have perfect pitch.

I literally just got that George Benson album today at Goodwill for $0.69 on a junk bin dig. I have a couple of other George Benson albums somewhere in my bins and he hasn't done me wrong when I'm making beats. Crazy how I've seen this episode 3 times and I didn't recognize this was the album.
