In my experience most DAWs look complicated but if you learn a lot of the little things within them you realize it's less of a big monster and more of a patchwork. So if your thinkin about approaching Pro Tools, do it!

it's a cheap vinyl to USB player. it will do as long as you have high fidelity needles. I would recommend audio technical hi-fi needles.

+Matthew Nash if you want to record vinyl on your computer you can plug the turntable into a phono amp (behringer pp40 is cheap & do the job for me) and then plug the phono amp to your audio interface
