The way Scottish bands upped the ante in the club scene was just awesome and to be a part of it all truly was the best days in life. So many superb bands , so many superb TUUNEs . Scotland very quickly established itself as the place to be , everywhere you went in Glasgow 1990 European city of culture with clubs licenced until 6am we were falling out of clubs into bright sunshine unreal 😜 the quality of the line up was outstanding. Even in the smaller clubs Nightsbridge SW1 that became Hacienda had mark Smith killing it , peggy Sue's , what a time to be alive , Tin Pan Alley , Circa. All these smaller clubs in the early 90s really set the bar very high.
