One thing you're not mentioning: the RIA 5 is a *heavy* beast. The Strike One doesn't weigh much more than an equivalent Glock, if it's the polymer frame variant like you're testing. The Strike One appears to have better accuracy than the RIA, costs less, weighs a bunch less (could be street carried as easily as a Glock) and is just as fast? That's the clear winner. One more thing. The Strike One has a 5" barrel, but it also has a cousin: the Archon type B is very similar to the Strike One but has a 4.3" barrel and is now available with a factory optics cut. THAT is the real winner.

Thank you for pointing that out, those are some good points, I am going to be testing the Archon type B gen 2 as well soon, hopefully!

Nice review I saw that the strike ones are still being imported. I might have to pick one up.

I have heard some rumors about an updated model coming, with optics mount.

Question? Which of the two has: 1) more front heavy 2) overall weight 3) better trigger 4) better grip ergonomics Thanks.

Hey, I wanna appologize for not responding to you, I have since sold the Strike one, but I still have the RIA 5.0, the RIA is definitely the heavier one being an all steel construction, and having a thicker barrel. the trigger on the 5.0 is a bit better as well, But i think the strike one was more comfortable in the hand.

Very flat shooting irons, could even hear one of the goats rooting ya on at one point. Taking everything into account, trigger, grip, feel and so on which one do you enjoy shooting more?
