Absolutely LOVE this song! The music video is like an anti-music video that it's satirical. She obviously can't dance but is having fun mocking how silly music videos have become and mocking herself. A lot of you think the video is underwhelming and she looks uncomfortable dancing.... That's the point of the song... "bend bend bend but I won't break. You can change my name, change my clothes. Take take take off these chains..." She's not conforming to typical music video norms. It's more than a relationship song. She's doing her own thing.

This song deserves more attention, better than most of the stuff out there. If I hear a song on the radio and I look it up on youtube it means it is something good. Knew she was Canadian before I looked it up, has that certain about of substance unique to Canada. Really deserves more attention. I get a little bit of Teegan and Sara feel to this song. Dear Ria: I send the following message to Ellen Degeneres show. I am writing you from Panama, Republic of Panama. A few weeks ago, just by accident I discovered a wonderful asong on KZbin, played by an almost unknown singer from the canadian LGBT comunity. She has some success in Canada, but sadly she remains unknown for the rest of the world. Her last song is a pure 80's dance pop gem. It's called BEND and would be a global hit if it was sung by any trending artist. This song really deserves to be a global hit if only US and anglo radio stations around the world give it some airplay. There were many comments in KZbin comparing Ria with Ellen, so it came up to my mind that it would be a great idea to invite Ria Mae to Ellen's show. It's the kind of push this song need to achieve the success it deserves. I feel as if I was Ria Mae's manager, but sadly I don't even know her.
