The Royal Institute of British Architects and the University of Westminster have partnered on a scheme to give students from underrepresented backgrounds an insight into studying Architectural disciplines at university. The scheme gives young people the opportunity to visit both RIBA and Westminster to see the facilities on offer, including our Fabrication Laboratory where they take part in a making workshop led by our current students and technicians. Wilfred Achille, Senior lecturer, also shares insight into his career in Architecture, including projects within regenerative social housing to provide insight into his journey and career as a black architect. The UK Student Recruitment and Outreach team support young people across many similar projects designed to help them overcome potential barriers and realise their potential through education.
