I am hoping you can tell us what you did to get the ski to run better? I am experiencing the same exact thing right now. I just did a ribbon removal this weekend and my 07 VX110 wont go over 6700 RPMS or 35mph. And when I give it full throttle it has this deep tone or vibrating growl similar to your ski in the beginning to the video. PLEASE HELP!

Ryan I did the same thing! When I pulled the backfire biscuit out I didn't see that there was a piece that went around it still in the passage. Did you remove both?

@@C3HENRYS Thanks for the quick response!!! I removed the little metal biscuit piece but did not remove the plastic insert piece. Should I remove both? It's crazy how my ski literally is acting EXACTLY LIKE YOURS.

Mines doing the same 6500rpm and 30ish. Why? Did he fix the issue?

When I was pulling the backfire biscuit out I didn't see that there was a black gasket around the biscuit that was left in the passage. I went back and looked and it was stuck in there sideways blocking half of the passage. Once removed it runs awesome! The fuel injection still takes a few minutes to figure out the new massive amount of extra are flow when you first start it but once it warms up it in race mode for the rest of the day!

Why did it run better at the end, then it did in the beginning?

On mine one or more spark plugs failed. I replaced them all the spring and it has no problem.

The spark plug is bad I had same issue

Yup I replaced all 4 and it runs perfectly. Pretty odd that more air exposed a fouled plug, maybe it caused it to fail.

Little late now, but all the hacking that was done removing the ribbon probably made the airflow more restrictive..lol..that intake hole has to be smooth as silk
