Love it buddy! I subscribed. I’m looking forward to more videos. I would love to see a long brisket cook at lower temps. I bet your cooker would do awesome. Maybe a charcoal basket with the minion method and a split on top? It should burn a long time don’t you think???

Thanks! That's a good idea that I haven't tried yet. I'll be sure to throw a brisket on there and do some sort of charcoal snake or minion method. Would probably work great. I appreciate the comment!

@@fabmakebuildcook6274 I bet it would work great! Can’t wait to see it. And if you don’t feed your neighbor friend next time I’m going to scream at you through KZbin. It will be very uncomfortable for you, sir. 😂😂😂

Did u try to keep it at around 225 yet? Would like to know how it does that. Great build and love the specs in that discription. Keep it up bro💪🏼

Thanks Franky! I just did some more ribs on it the other day and maintained around 225-250 throughout the entire cook BESIDES when I open the top. It breathes a ton of oxygen and will ignite any wood that is on the coal bed. I really don't mind because you also lose a ton of heat that way and the open flame gets it back up to temp real quick :) Thanks for watching

What kind of pit is that?
@fabmakebuildcook62744 жыл бұрын
Dean this is a Chud Box replica. Direct heat bbq pit similar to what Snow's BBQ uses in Central Texas (But a bit smaller :)). Check out my build video's of this pit and it's little brother Mini Chud box.
