My first wrestling event I went to was at the National Guard Armory in Oklahoma City. It was sometime in late 1981- early 82'. I only remember Chief Wahoo McDaniels vs. Austin Idol ( I think) and the main event was Ric Flair vs. Jimmy Snuka. I'd give anything if I could get ahold of that program. I have no idea what promotion it was or even remember who else was their. It was a great day. I was so excited. There was an upstairs loft were the offices and the locker rooms and you would see referees walking in and out of these rooms. Then you would hear boos and look up it would be Flair dressed to the 9's walking from one room to another. Man it was great.
@shawnsmith93672 жыл бұрын
@Kingdom of the Son of God I found the card. I was wrong. Jimmy Snuka was there but he did not wrestle Ric Flair. He was in a six man tag match. Ric Flair wrestled Paul Jones. This was apparently Tri- states last event. This happened March 12, 1982. Also Mc Daniels and Idol was not there either. I didn't recognize or remember many of the wrestlers on the card.
