Ronaldinho wasn't the better playmaker, especially in 2007. Kaka was the best playmaker in the world. Overall, Ronaldinho was more skilful and a better player, but as a playmaker, Kaka tops Ronaldinho. Also, Ronaldinho wore no 10 Jersey after Rivaldo for about 4 years, and he didn't succeed much as well, especially in 2006 WC when he was a no 10 and he didn't do anything significant.

Check the 2002wc his crucial assists at 21 years Name any crucial assist kaka has for Brasil. Kaka was only good in matches where the opponent left space to run into. The Copa America 1999 he was a substitute. Confederation Cup 2005, Adriano outshined both Ronaldinho and Kaka. Kaka doesn't have a crucial assist??? Ronaldinho and Kaka both had only one assist in WC 2006, and Ronaldinho didn't score a single goal, while Kaka also scored one goal. What In 2010 WC, Kaka had the highest assist in the tournament. Kaka and Ronaldinho both didn't play Copa America in 2007, and Brasil managed to win it without both of them. In 2009, Kaka won ConfederationCup golden ball. Ronaldinho didn't play 2010 WC. One of the main reasons was his disappointing performance in 2006 WC, for which he was heavily critisized. After 2006, Kaka didn't want that no 10 jersey but was given by Brasil because of the disappointing performance of Ronaldinho in 2006 WC. Also, Kaka only plays in open spaces?? He tore the defences just like Ronaldinho. The only difference was he did it a simple way, unlike Ronadlinho who loved showboating and showing tricks. There are as many clips of Kaka running from the centre to the box sliding through the defences as much as Ronaldinho. The difference is Kaka did it with one touch while Ronadinho used to perform tricks over and over again. Also, Kaka was way faster, everybody was left chasing him, while Ronaldinho was slower compared to Kaka and had to slide his way more through defences.

@rjuniverse7289 At copa2002 it worked perfectly. Ronaldo n Rivaldo scoring goals and Dinho floating around as the playmaker. Rivaldo was a senior player so obviously Dinho was not going to get the 10jersey To this day Rivaldo mentions how easy it was to play with Dinho as he would find him with good passes. Dinho has never been a goal scorer. His main job was to give assists and that is why he fit perfectly alongside Rivaldo and R9 at copa2002 Copa2006 was a mess and fans like to criticise Dinho bcoz they cannot see the problem the team had. First Zeroberto and Juninho were a problem as they did not provide the midfield cover the team needed. Zidan who that season won nothing at Madrid was having soo much fun in midfield because there is no one to chase him down. Brasil should have brought back Kleberson and partner him with Emerson and they would have given Brasil muscle in midfield. Brasil got exposed against France but fans like to blame Dinho In 2010 what did kaka do against Netherlands. Robinho gave his team an early lead but wat did kaka do. All you can mention are his assists against weak opponents. Am not discussing Copa America and confederations as they are easy tournaments and I know that is where kaka can easily shine. Kaka is an average playmaker while Dinho was elite. Don't be blinded by the dribles. The kind of assists Dinho could make kaka can never even dream

At World Cup 2002, Rivaldo was wearing no 10, and Ronaldinho was wearing no 11. And about assists, Kaka has almost about the same assists as Ronaldinho and Ronaldinho played most of his career as a winger, while Kaka played most of his career as an Attacking Midfielder. And as I mentioned above, other than WC 2002, which also had the best Ronaldo after injury Rivaldo, Carlos, Cafu and so on, Ronaldinho was also a vital player, but the most important player were Ronaldo and Rivaldo. Where as in 2006 WC, it was the out of shape Ronadlo, Old Cafu, and Partying Ronadlinho, who wouldn't show up in training and so on that became the major screw up in the Wc. Ronaldinho was their no 10 and playmaker in that WC, and Brasil got knocked out by France. In 2010 WC, Kaka had the highest assists in the WC, and he wasn't playing with the likes of Rivaldo, and so on. Tell me the star player at the level of Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronadlinho, Cafu, and so on at WC 2010. He was carrying the Brasil squad singlehandedly as their no 10. Kaka also won the Confederation Cup and Conf. Cup golden ball as no 10 a year prior. Ronaldinho hasn't won a single golden ball as a no 10. And as a playmaker, the only playmaker that rivalled Kaka in the 2000s was Zidane. Ronaldinho was more skillful, but Kaka was a better playmaker. The kind of assists Kaka can make Ronaldinho could only dream. I am not blinded by dribble,but you are blinded by skills, ball control and dribbling thinking that is playmaking. Ronadinho had better ball control , but Kaka has better passes, especially long passes. His assists in UCL 2005 agaisnts Liverpool is considered by many as among the greatest assists in UCL histroy. Ronaldinho can only dream of doing those kinds of assist. If Kaka wasn't a great playmaker, how did he win the World 's best playmaker award in 2007.
