When I began to study english, the teacher made us watch SNL, I remember Eddie Murphy doing James Brown in "speaking freely". Simply great....

Nice to see a CLEAR post of this rare footage. Thanks for posting! The year is wrong. It’s 1969 NOT ‘68.

And the government seen this after he got behind Nixon (who didn't care for black people very much) not too long after this and sought to destroy him. Despite all of that, he was definitely about ownership. And he _rightfully_ deserved every title he's ever earned in life. RIP Godfather. 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊

Ooooooohhhh when black pride was everything cause we were being denied our natural right to live and not be alienated just cause of our skin color..so we embraced it!!! And thats not being anti-white, thats embracing your roots of positivity AND pride...we all know GREEN is the only color that counts in this country, but having respect and pride feels so much better...

Al G lol. Facts. But remember there’s a bullshit double standard with women. That’s why the MeToo is going to shit. One of their founders Asa Argento raped an underage boy and no outcry. Cunts can rot in hell.
