Bought some skates back in February, as I hadn't been skating for about 15 years. Your videos have gotten me back on the wheels this past month and starting to discover a small inline community here in Austin, TX. Puts a big smile to my face when I see another skater on the streets just feeling free. Much love man !

For me, the benefits are a bi-product, skating is just straight up fun! Those California roads look super smooth, and that Burrito! Did you see Slo-Mo in your travels?

Imperial Beach. I was trying lnline skates for first time in Coronado on Wednesday. You're doing the skate across the Coronado Strand I dream of doing once I am good on skates.

I have to agree. I am new to in line. About 3 weeks now and it is great exercise. When you just start the effort you put in is probably lower than had you gone for a run, but it quickly improves and the lower back/core plus legs do get a hammering. Loving it so far and getting some good pace and much improved confidence.

Ricardo Lino definitely still like a ghost town here in Cali. I have used this time to help my two daughters feel more comfortable and confident in the skates. Plus a bonus factor ordered a pair of skates for the wife so now we will be the family of 4 rolling down the street when it’s safe to do so! Also the occasional visit to a local skate rink for some music filled rolling. Have an amazing rest of the weekend.

Dude, i live in san diego and i rollerblade a lot around the city. I live in PB. And i do a skating route similar to what u wanted to do, from PB to downtown, which is about 12 miles too. Let me know if u wanna hang out, we ride somewhere. I ride pretty well, i recently bought a pair of rollerblade NJ Pros. Let me know, it would be nice to have someone to ride with. Have a good one, enjoy bro.

Question. How long do wheels last and are they pricey?
@Jay-gg6xg4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ricardo, love your videos. I was an inline skater in the 90's in NYC. Now I live in the suburbs and looking to get back into it, just for exercise around the neighborhood and perhaps some bike trails. No tricks. Just want some speed, but emphasis on ease of maneuverability and stopping. Thought I would shop for inline skates that have removable frames to swap 4 wheels frames for 3 wheel frames. Want a boot that is light, stable, and breathable. Any recommendations? By way of reference for my ability, I played ice hockey through college, able to navigate busy NYC streets with ease. Many thanks, Jay

Another great video Ricardo. Loving the content during isolation. I know I ask you a lot of questions in the comments so I hope you dont mind but I've got a couple more. What "stick/pole" do you use for your GoPro? I got one of the cheap accessorie bundles but the selfie stick thing that came with it is really weak and wobbly. Also what exercise do you do while in isolation to keep fit? I've been doing Joe Wicks morning exercises, you may have heard of him, but what can I do to target muscles I'd be using for skating? Thanks man and stay safe, hope your family is well too

Hey Sambo. gladly i live in a very small town without strict quarantine rules..we have only 10k people and we had 2 cases..both identified early. one is cured and the other is quarantined at home..cities are in lockdown , so no one in or out. making it safer to at least skate alone now... but i have been helping a gym called Kalorias with editing daily trains everyday. maybe check this account (portuguese though) www.kalorias.com/o-seu-clube-online hope this helped. Cheers Lino

I love the look of the usd 60’s but I know that they are a smaller wheel so I’ll get caught up on rocks and stuff. Have you skated the 60’s outside of the skatepark or I guess any 60 mm wheels how do they hold up?
@RicardoLino4 жыл бұрын
I did. Hey can work for sort skates between spots in town. But you will not be happy to commute on them often. 72s will make a huge difference Maybe check the Aeons 72s or even the 80s.. but I love the freeskates / urban skates for cruising citys over everything
@Guairebot4 жыл бұрын
Ricardo Lino yeah I think the 72s might be best I’ve been rollerblading for a few years and recently wanted to get into aggressive skating, also, being a skateboarder I gotta say the rollerblading community is so much nicer and more accepting than the skateboard community. Thanks for the advice!
@aubreygaraghan74794 жыл бұрын
3×125 is fun! if you can get a pair of skates that can swap frames, 4x80 and then a 3x frame on one pair of skates, FR 80 or power slide Next would be good for that. then get a pair of aeons, roces or them skates for your aggressive skates, then youre all covered. 😉 oysi frames r cool! check em out. put those on your Them or Roces. 👌
