Come on, if you don't know don't assume. Search. There are videos where he explains how he got there. The processes if discovery and development of the technique. There are drummers like Thomas Lang that invite him to show his technique. Don't underestimate work and dedication, and talent can do. He worked his ass to get there..

BTW, I am a metal head for 25 years at least, and I skipped dragon force altogether. There are other bands playing similar things I listened to in my teen years. Not surprised he would not know the song. If you check his videos, he plays way more complex stuff, this is fast and long, but not hard

@@devinbuchhorn thanks. I never wanted it to be a “this guy can’t play and is a phony!” Type thing 😅 I’ve always thought the dude was amazing. It’s just a topic that’s coming up and everyone seems to be talking about it.

lol at how this is the hardest song on earth according to Drumeo. This is like old Anthrax with one fast double bass part. This track is FAR easier to play than the song he was "playing" in his video for Pearl. This is definitely not the proof of life anyone tries to make it out to be.

it's not to say he's fake overall and can't play. it's to say that the archspire video he uploaded was not live audio and it was disingenuous. just like with a singer, you can be an amazing singer, but if you lipsync a section live and claim it's a one take or live performance, then you should be called out for that. doesn't mean you're a bad singer. but you shouldn't be dishonest.

I'm a metal connoisseur, and I've not heard this song before, nor would I listen to something that sounds like it's from a kids cartoon, but I've never heard this band. Edit - this song sucks, any wonder I've not listened to it before!

@nedesnikderpherder7529 how would you know what the cream of the crop is if you've only been exposed to a very narrow catalog of music? Claiming to be a connoisseur but being unaware of a song that even non-metal listeners can recognize is like saying that you go outside to eat but don't know what McDonald's is.
@nedesnikderpherder752914 күн бұрын
@washedanddepressed lol ah of course I'd forgot it was the big 5.... Are you really using that analogy? Any way it's not metal, or even heavy, so why would I even rate it, or have it on my radar? Just because plebs know about it, that just proves to me, that I'm right, and you have no clue, I'd bet those same people and yourself wouldn't have even heard of half the bands I've been into for the last 35 years. Just get a clue bro🧐😘😎
